Starting point

Moving companies are found almost exclusively through Google, and people always search with a town: «Umzug Wil», «Zügelfirma Frauenfeld», «piano transport St. Gallen». A handful of pages cannot appear for these searches. On top of that, people who move compare several quotes. The enquiry has to take two minutes, or it goes to a competitor.

Our approach

We rebuilt the website from scratch as a static site with Astro: no CMS, no plugins, extremely fast on mobile too. The core are the landing pages: 12 service pages from private moves to furniture lifts, piano transport and move-out cleaning, 30 location pages from Wil via Winterthur, Frauenfeld and St. Gallen to Zurich, and 8 combination pages such as «office move Winterthur», all in English too. Each page has its own content, its own FAQ and structured data for Google. Enquiries come in through a six-step quote funnel (type of move, from/to, size, extra services, date, contact) or a short form, protected by reCAPTCHA and delivered straight to the inbox. The old WordPress URLs redirect with 301, so existing rankings are not lost.

The outcome

Since the relaunch in September 2026, Adler Umzüge can be found not only in Wil but with its own page in every town between Zurich and Lake Constance where the company moves people. Anyone who wants a quote provides everything needed for a price in a few steps, instead of just writing «please get in touch». This is how we build websites for trades and service businesses: not as a business card, but as a system that brings in enquiries.
