Where Parkett Vision Shop started and what changed.
Starting point
After sanding and oiling, every wooden floor needs the right care. Until now Parkett Vision could only recommend the right products; customers had to buy them elsewhere, at a DIY store or from an online retailer.
Result
A shop of its own at shop.parkett-vision.ch with 58 products in four categories: care & cleaning, repair & touch-up, tools & mops, and floor protection & accessories, including products from PROFF Woodcare. It is linked in the main menu of the new website.
How we approached it.
Starting point
Customers whose floor has just been sanded or oiled need the right care, otherwise the result suffers. Parkett Vision wanted to supply them directly as their floor layer and turn that into a second revenue stream. The shop also had to run without technical effort: payment, stock, shipping and invoices had to simply work.
Our approach
We set the shop up on Shopify, a proven platform for payment, stock, shipping and invoices, so Parkett Vision can run the shop without technical upkeep. Our work covered the setup, the product structure and categories, and the design in the Parkett Vision brand, so the shop feels like part of the website. It is linked from the menu of the new website, so customers get from a service page straight to the matching care products.
The outcome
Today Parkett Vision can hand its customers the matching care products after the work on the floor and sell them online, in a shop that appears in the same look as the website and runs without technical effort.
